Dr. Pei has worked at our practice for 5 years. earned his DVM from Colorado State University in 1985. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Washington and a Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of Hawaii . He has been practicing veterinary medicine ever since in different capacities; small animal practice, public health, animal shelters, and practicing general medicine. His interests in the veterinary field include neurology and dermatology.
Dr. Campbell has worked at our practice as a relief vet for 6 years. She had an interest in animals since the 7th grade. She loves cats and they are the reason she became a vet. She graduated in 1990 from Colorado State University and has been a full time vet ever since. She has 6 cats and 3 dogs. Dr. Campbell also runs her own mobile vet clinic.
Dr. Kerrihard is a specialist in small animal orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He performs all of our orthopedic surgical procedures at our facility. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1991. During his free time, Dr. Kerrihard enjoys spending time with his two sons. He has a one dog and one cat.
Makayla started working here after graduating high school in 2014. With hard work and dedication Makayla became a Lead Veterinary Technician at our practice. Since she was a little girl, her dream was always to help animals any way she could. She figured this out when she couldn't resist the urge to rescue all of the animals in her neighborhood. During her free time she enjoys spending time outside with family, friends, and her fur babies.
Shawnte started working here in January as a volunteer because she wanted to know what the vet field was like. She was in childcare for 4 years before realizing that being a Veterinary Technician was exactly what she wanted to do. She loves all animals with a passion and if she ever sees animals wondering she will take them home and care for them until they are safely returned to their owner. She has 4 dogs, 4 rats and a bunch of fish that get special love every day.
Angela started working here in July 2022. She is originally from Pensacola, FL and moved to Colorado about 7 years ago. She went to Pima medical institute in 2016 and graduated as a CVTA. She has 4 dogs of her own and loves doing anything outdoors along side her fluffy pack. When she is outside of the clinic her favorite place to be is high in elevation, hiking and exploring this beautiful state and all it has to offer, nature side, but she will never turn down a night on the couch with her pups
Aria started working here in August 2022. Aria has always known since she was a kid that the animal field was for her. She wasn't sure which direction she wanted to go in until one day she realized zoology was it. Her dream is to work with big cats, especially since they are her favorite. When Aria isn't working, she's normally at home with her boyfriend and her three cats, either watching anime or playing video games.
Keri has worked at our practice for 12 years. She is assistant to Jody and is in charge of training the Client Specialists along with her other numerous duties. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Kaylyn and family, she also enjoys playing in her vegetable garden during the summer months. Keri has one fur baby (Terra). She rescued her from our practice 8 years ago after losing her first fur baby Sabrina in 2011. She lost Terra’s sibling Luna in 2019 to cancer.
Kayleigh started here in September of 2022. She was born and raised in Colorado. It took some time to find her dream job but now she knows that working with animals is what she was born to do. She has 2 cats, named Bear and Olive and her puppy named Moose. In her free time she loves getting to go to the mountains or staying home and spending time with her fur babies.
Jody is the proud owner of Paws & Claws Veterinary Clinic. She has always had a strong passion for helping animals and opening this clinic is a dream come true for her. She has lots of fur babies at home that are extremely loved and spoiled rotten! Jody has such a huge heart when it comes to animals and would move mountains to make sure they are getting the proper love and care they deserve!

We are searching for a mature, organized, outgoing, empathetic, Veterinary Client Specialist to join our team.
The Veterinary Client Specialist’s duties include but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments and procedures, checking clients in, collecting payment, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, refilling prescriptions.
Client Relations: A client specialists has influence with our client’s. You are the first impression a current or potential client sees or hears, and that comes with certain obligations. A client specialists must be able to multi task, be efficient and effective, and be able to be a liaison between client, veterinary technicians, and veterinarian. Whatever a client needs, we provide to the best of our abilities, and the ability to anticipate needs.
Essential duties: Provide top notch customer service, maintain a professional appearance (clothes and attitude), being attentive to clients and pet needs, identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states, work patiently with distressed, frustrated, or disgruntled clients, assist in cleaning the clinic including but not limited to: keeping reception desk and our lobby clean and sanitized, kitchen, pharmacy, bathrooms, kennels if needed.

We are deeply saddened about the loss of Dr. Stephanie Dodge. Stephanie worked along side us at our practice for 6 years. She was a very strong and intelligent women, always putting her best foot forward no matter what she was going through. Dr. Dodge graduated from Colorado State University. Her great personality always kept us smiling. There was never a dull moment when working with Dr. Dodge. As we move forward, things at our clinic will never be the same without her. We are incredibly thankful for her commitment to our clinic. She was not only a doctor here, she was a part of our family. Stephanie Dodge, you will be missed dearly.
